As a new virus keeps spreading across the globe, we completely understand your concern about the safety of doing business with a moving company. OUR COMPANY has, therefore, decided to implement new precautionary measures in order to ensure the highest level of protection for you, your belongings, and our movers.
Starting now, all our movers and drivers will be required to wear protective gear, consisting of medical masks and gloves, while handling your belongings or communicating with customers. As we cannot minimize physical contact due to the nature of our job, masks and gloves will act as shields from possible infection.
Likewise, if any of our movers aren’t feeling well, they will be required to stay at home. Even if the symptoms they are exhibiting don’t match those associated with Coronavirus, their immune system is compromised, thus making them more susceptible to the infection. To protect them and other staff members from getting sick, those movers will be required to stay absent from work until further notice.
Lastly, all our trucks and equipment are being disinfected daily, and our warehouses are stocked with sanitizers for different surfaces. In this way, we will prevent the spreading of the virus via contaminated surfaces.
While we are doing what we can to protect you and our staff, you can also take steps to protect yourself:
- Maintain good hygiene by washing your hands often and using hand sanitizers,
- Avoid touching your face, especially your eyes, mouth, and nose,
- Avoid crowded and enclosed areas,
- If you notice any symptoms, get in touch with your doctor immediately.
We should all make sure we’re doing everything in our power to fight the spread of germs. To learn what else you can do, visit the official website of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
